This is great info Mark. I enjoyed these videos and picked up a few new things. Your gesture sketches are so fluid.. oh and John Tucker is THE best model!
This blog sure is a real goldmine. I really hope you guys can keep it up! I sarted watching the first video and was about to turn it off. ("warm-up? yeah right...") And then you started drawing.
Man, that is awesome! I don't really have much time now so I'll have to watch the second video later but this is amazing. It's like my drawn to life books coming alive, you work so fast and clear. wow.
Sorry for thinking this wasn't going anywhere and thanks for sharing! I can't wait to watch this again and again.
These videos are really great. Apart from the fact they are really interesting information-wise, but they are also really energising. I was feeling a bit sluggish, but they really got me feeling inspired and itching to get drawing. Excellent. Thanks very much for posting them. Jon
Thank you guys and I hope they helped to think of some old ideas in a new way, I know they did for me.
Louie, You're a talent my man, thank you for the kind comment.
da ap, There's more on the way so when you get time, take a look for more upcoming videos here on The Art Center . . . a fantastic idea by Randall, thanks buddy.
Wouter Tulp, Thank you . . . take a look at the other amazing talents that are a part of this blog, from Louie to Rad . . . what a collection of art and amazing ideas and tricks of the trade!
Jon, Thanks . . . I'm just as inspired by the folks who have been posting their ideas, pretty special and I'm glad to be a part of it.
Hi Mark i am from Argentina.. i like so much this videos... the way ou draw is amazing, i would like draw like you some day :P. I have a blog with my draws, i'm 18years old, i have so much to learn jeje. un abrazo jeje!
The deflating part is that you're using pen and the lines are going in the right place on the first try.
That's the thing I find missing in all drawing instruction i've encountered, how to develop that physical control. Talented drawers seem to presume that everyone has that already.
"Draw Loose! Draw Fast!" they shout and then get irate when the result is loose, fast garbage.
